I stopped watching wrestling just as McMahon turned heel but you gotta appreciate a billionaire going all-in on his craft and shoving his face into a giant twerking man ass.
That's the workin' man's ass
Nothing wrong with that
This does put a smile on my face. -Gibraltar
Gives the term 'sweatshop' a whole new meaning.
That’s America’s ass
I understood that reference
Ah so u sold low then
Isn’t he still a fucking ass? I don’t remember where but I heard he used some sort of legal loophole so that the wrestler are not technically employees and therefore don’t get company insurance. Again just something I heard.
Yeah, he's pretty much scum of the Earth.
He's still eating ass though.
That's really only sketchy if they aren't well paid (paid extra to buy their own insurance). Insurance through your employer is kind of a scam in itself.
It sounds like they are independent contractors. I too am an independent contractor and I make far more than I did when I was an employee for another company, but I don't get as much "hand holding". I prefer the setup I have now.
Yeah, same. I have two jobs but one reclassified me as a contractor instead of employee. The pay is almost double at that one now but no benefits. I still have benefits at the other job so I see it as an absolute win.
There is a Last Week Tonight Segment on it that's pretty interesting.
Oh yeah I think that’s where I saw it the first time
That pretty much sums up every billionaire, "good" or not. You don't get the margins necessary without cutting corners
Commitment to the highest degree
Find a job doing what you love and you'll never work a day in your life
Retail Investors lookin THICC
Tendie diét paying off
It's all the tendies
I'm thankful every day I grew up during the prime. WWE was fucking epic to 10 year old me
Mcmahon is the definition of an activist ceo... the man stuck his head up an ass for the storyline
This guy could have chosen to not even be on the damn show. Instead he’s got his head in this guy’s butt. He did that for you. For me. For all of us.
Seems to me like the chief there was really into it, almost enjoying it.
The Rock and Rikishi are cousins, so this was a fitting *end*.
'Hey Mcmahon! Can you smell what the Rock cooked last night?!?'
also your name checks out
Rock Era wrestling is the only real wrasslin'
Son, let me tell you about Randy "Macho Man" Savage.......
Jake the snake- mankind-younger undertaker before kane showed up - ray mysterio when he was young ahh the days oh crap. Ric flair and hulk hogan
The iron sheik, andre the giant, the million dollar man, George" the animal" Steele,
He was the cream of the crop..
And the cream...
ALWAYS RISES TO THE TOP
And, OhhhYeahhhhh Randy Macho Man Savage was the best. Probably one of my favorite wrestlers of the WWF heyday
Snap into it.
Ivan Putski with the “Polish Hammer”.

If 90-2000 era wwe was available on netflix or hulu or something I'd watch the fuck out of it. Wait, is it?
Pretty sure they did away with the first month free since part of the network is now just free and they're merging with peacock in the US next month.
So that combined with Wrestlemania coming up has got me thinking they might rise a couple of points in the next 2 months.
Not financial advice I just like Cameron Grimes' new million dollar man light gimmick. After he invested in gamestop and AMC
Stone Cold > the rock
His intro music dude. Sound of breaking glass... Look of dread in the eyes of everyone.
And thats the bottom line!
Hulkamania was wild though.
Mankind, rock and sock connection!
Shut your mouth, you thong wearing fatty!
I’ll never forget being like 5 years old with my big brother who was like ten years older than me watching that on TV. I can imagine he was old enough to be a bit over WWE.
Back then it was WWF tho. I remember that clearly. I had the n64 game and it for sure was WWF
Ninja edit: looked it up, it was No Mercy.
I remember one of the intros was literally the guy just T-posing and spinning as he walked out. It was hilarious and I always used it.
Hahaha yes this! I just remember my brother convinced me to be his wrestling buddy and he used to practice suplex’s on me. Pretty sure he tried to choke slam me but my mum intervened 😂😂
😂 I remember that one for create a character. They had the ballet one too. I remember that one for PlayStation or PlayStation 2.
I never realized the storylines in WWE were this well-scripted. Has the writing continued to be this good, or has it changed over the years?
It's subjective. The main wrestling trope of bad guy vs good guy is still there. If you want to check out, Roman Reigns might interest you(he is The Rock's cousin). Heard they had a wrestler being a "reddit investor" gimmick after this sub blew up with GME.
> This was the payoff to a long storyline, vince mcmahon's kiss my ass club. He would get different wrestlers to literally kiss his ass so they could get ahead in the company.. or something. That's how I remember it anyways. Eventually as you can see the rock here gave him his comeupance for his evil deeds by forcing him to kiss rikishis ass. Rikishi also famously ran over stone cold steve austin, claiming "I did it for da rock".
> It's still real to me, damnit.
Goddamn flash*backs* in this comment
So you’re saying WWE was like a soap opera that takes place in the wrestling ring?
He did it...for The Rock.
Maybe he enjoys that
For each their own I guess. As to me, I don't know how you guys enjoy that stuff
I agree for every era, except this one. This era knew how to excite an audience and leave you invested.
Because it wasn't bullshit. It was just pure entertainment
It was fun when we were kids
Guilty pleasure akin to soap operas I guess. I don’t know if I’d appreciate pro wrestling from this era if they aired now, but from pure nostalgia from being a teenager, this stuff is so good.
It's all theater with back story and such. It isn't my cup of tea but I give the ceo credit for being such a good sport for the art
His whole angle with Stone Cold for years was one of if not the bet story line across any promotion.
I was in and out by the Attitude Era.
Remind me what the gist of it was? Didn't it just boil down to "Stone Cold is the shit, and Mcmahon hates him for it"?
It was pretty much that Stone Cold represented your blue collar worker and Vince was the white collar. It resonated with a lot of the crowd because Stove Cold was finally doing what everyone wanted to do, give it to the man. He was flipping off the boss and breathing the crap out of him, all while drinking beer.
Basically. It was pretty much Austin fucking around with Vince for a couple years. I don’t remember why it started but I know it was high quality entertainment to elementary school me.
Shocked he didn't get a case of pinkeye from that one .
My parents in the 80s and 90s told me wrestling was bad and I wasn't allowed to watch it when they were around.
Those were mostly wwf era.
That's when I was watching it. Growing up watching the old greats awesome. Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Macho Man, Rick Flair, Ultimate Warrior, Jake the Snake, The Undertaker were all my childhood heros lol. No wonder I've cane a degenerate lol
I guess we didn’t watch it for the same thing
my heroes were
Trish, Tori, Terry, Stacy..
Wow you watched girl wrestling... *gay*
If he were to buy 15% of Blockbuster right now, I would be all in.
He’s great. His kid also was all in and did some insane stunts. They’re fantastic owners.
Edit: then again another comment says he was a complete bastard about compensation for the wrestlers
It was his idea tbh. He's a genius.
Late 90's to early 2000's. Monday Night Raw! Thursday Night Smackdown. The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, HHH, Big Show, Jericho... not to mention the PS1/N64 late night parties and character creations.
Those were the days as a kid.
I had a game on N64 and I never won a single match cause I had no idea what to do. But I did love the character creation
I created a character who wore lingerie and had Rikishi’s ass smothering move
That's 12-year old boner material
Also Dudley boys vs Hardy boys vs 2 cool vs Edge and Christian vs Acolytes was an incredible period for tag teams.
WWF No Mercy! Back then I created all of the kids who bullied me in school and then proceeded to lay the mothafukin smack down on their candy asses in first blood matches, TLC and hell in a cell.
RAW... IS .... JERICHO
Hell yeah, don't forget the puppies!
Hell yeah. Giving me some serious flash blacks.
😢 they sure were
Two words: Trish Stratus
Same! Loved WWF and then they started calling it WWE.
Totally. Triple H was my favorite back in the day
Yeah Shawn Michaels and him in DX was the shit.
So many legends...
Thinking the same thing "it wasn't really the 'prime' if it wasn't still called WWF"
No, this was WWF in it's prime!
This caused me to end up in an hour Wikipedia rabbit hole reading about old wrestlers
Been there so many times. Brings up those great memories of powerbombing my brother onto the couch then hitting him w/ the walls of Jericho.
Throw in a few "chair shots" with the couch cushions and a crippler crossface for good measure.... and one disgusting Mr. Socko to really highlight my victory. Then running over to the 6 cd stereo player to blast a song from Monsters of rock, and walk down the hallway with my replica WWF championship belt. Absolutely no fkn better memories a child could ever have
God, Chris Benoit was my favorite wrestler as a kid. That memorial episode that aired before anyone knew the details of the deaths was traumatic for 7 year old me. I spent the whole time thinking about how his son was 7 too. That and I remember my dad watching it with me just trying to get a read on how I was handling it. I remember never crying or being confused, but I was just shocked and numb for the entire thing. I didn't remember this part, but my mom told me that after it became public knowledge that Benoit murdered his family, I silently picked up my favorite Benoit action figure and threw it in the trash. Then my awesome mother fished it out of the trash because she had a feeling that it might be worth a lot of money in a couple decades. But it's out of the box and had been played with a ton, so I can't imagine it'll be anything worth noting.
JR on the call.. Nobody does it better...The Rock an absolute specimen before he went all hulkish
It'll never be the same again.. I watched in the fucking prime of it all. What a time to be alive. Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Mankind, Triple H, Kane, Undertaker. So much different than today...
If you take the volume of one Stone Cold pop back then and compare it to the sum of all “pops” nowadays (pre-Covid) it’s not even close.
yo i’m on acid
Lit boy, I'm hoping to hop on that train again soon. Safe tripping brethren.
God I remember watching on tv as a kid. Was so hyped.
Yeaaaaaaaa NWO Wolfpack was prime
Is anybody gonna day anything about the announcer going "AH HELL YEAH!" as Vince gets his head shoved up a butt?
Wrestling always been kinda gay tho
What’s gay about large muscular men shaved and oiled wearing nothing but boots and underwear?
And spend all their time grabbing each other trying to pin them on the ground....
That's the manliest shit you can do. You know, come to think about it, being into girls is kinda gay. Like, they wear lacy stuff and look all pretty and shit. They're just so danty and beautiful. Why would a man be into that kinda gay shit? Hanging out with dudes, wrestling all day, sticking your face into other men's asses WITHOUT GETTING A BONER, that's manly AF!
Wait...no boner!? I'm out.
*and pounding each other into the ground, i might add
I saw no balls touch
Yep, Jim Ross aka Good Ol JR. He was the second member of the Vince McMahon kiss my ass club. And it was done in Oklahoma, where he is from. Vince loves to humiliate JR in Oklahoma.
I never thought people meant "make out with my asshole" when they say "kiss my ass"
I mean you're presenting it as if it was some real evil humiliation and not just premeditated acted out script
It is a script, but from the shoot interviews I’ve seen (with JR and others) and from reading JR’s autobiography, Vince does have a thing for fucking with people and JR in particular.
>The announcer was forced to kiss vince's ass in an earlier part of the story line iirc
Well, everyone had a "role".. and they all nailed it
WWF/WWE always been like a great movie or TV Show
Everyone had/has a script, and the rest depends on the male and female "wrestlers/performers" and their acting skills. Most of them are all high level athletes IRL too
But Selling a story to the millions watching, and generating massive hype.. takes talent.
WWF and early 2000s WWE was the golden age. It lost some of the best people, and became more PG13 later on.. Then it just lost that enigma which made WWE a Multi-Billion dollar entertainment corporation with an enormous fan base world wide.
There was a time, when almost every young folk all around the world stayed glued to the TV on Monday and Friday nights.. religiously
You’re god damned right. Vince McMahon turned fighting into a god-damned sitcom
That’s JR and he’s the best commentator across any type of sport or athletic event. JR + The King was 50% of the match entertainment.
Before eating ass was fashionable
Gme gave me pink eye
But watching its every move saved us all from the rona.
Hahahaha u retarded apes make me giggle
Person holdong at $450 😳😳😳🤣🤣🤣
Just wait 'till this sub gets filled with people who bought in at 70k
Just wait til we're all working at Burger King.
Still making tendies.
Maybe I’ll become the Burger King
I'm not too far from that so wouldn't even be a loss, it's a win-win🚀🚀
Fuck bankruptcy, all my homies hate bankruptcy
No ape left behind. We all are coming for that ape. And it will prove a cheap price.
GME gonna get me to start watching wrestling now lmao
Remember when the entire internet did nothing but scream "GAYY!!"?
lol I am dying laughing 😂🤣
This meme would work, but for you who know WWE lore, the guy who gets ass-to-mouth resuscitation actually owns the situation around him. He chose to let that happen. Guess he’s into big, mostly naked men... public humiliation... and owns WWE... I guess that checks out.
P.s. loving that chick at the end with the pink tights
It’s Trish Stratus, feel free to research her body of work
I knew this sub would come through for me, lol 👍
r/wrestlewiththeplot might also be of interest to you.
My god, you’re a genius, jesus
Man I loved Stacy and Trish.
Jesus fuckin chirst dude... you're right
It’s a great stock with great potential, it’s vastly undervalued. It’s the PEOPLES stock now.
I’m not a financial advisor and as such here is some free financial advice from Europe. Investing in GME instead of meth cocaine and other drugs with your stimulus checks will extend your life expectancy.
I like the stock, Crayolas and money. In that order.
5 million 🦍 ...dloh nim net hcae si 50M crayons?
The excited announcer kills me "those are his lips on the biggest ass in the WWF, AW HELL YEAH" fucking gold
I did it, for the stonk!
Diamond ass baby
Bro Rikishi was hella thicc
These are getting wild. I love it

Dam miss the mad attitude era days lol
Vince loved it
Long live RIKISHI
Double cheeked up on a Thursday afternoon
Rikishi had a dumper and a fuckin half
All the wwe memes are from the same era. That really was the best time wasn't it?
