Wow, I am walking 10,000 steps a day too! Fasting only 10 hours. Lost 5 lbs this month, Great Job, crushing it!

KristinaMariaS

Thank you! Looks like fasting 10 hours is great for you! 5lbs (or 4) seems like a very good average per month. (I guess you are not in the end of your journey, if you are, that would be amazing). Good luck!

espererai

Thanks, as I get closer to my goal weight, I will post. Thinking to post a 20lbs lost pic to compare from 180lbs Starting weight

KristinaMariaS

Looking forward to it!

KristinaMariaS

Had my wedding band resized recently and went down from a 56 to a 52 (lose fit)!

jim_anch0wer

I'm so glad my marriage is strong, because (among other reasons) I could not get my rings off if I tried! It seems like these stubby little fingers are one of the last places holding on to weight.

KristinaMariaS

Lol, I waited for so long to have it changed and am soo happy about it now.

Gullible_Carpet6610

Good job!!

KristinaMariaS

Thank you!

Nappleseed

Yo Iโ€™m diggin those slides in the left pic

KristinaMariaS

Yes, they are very comfy!

n_lsmom

I'm just a couple of months into IF but I'm the same height as you and CW is 163. Your post is very inspiring for me! For the past 20 years I've stayed 20-25 lbs less but lock down really didn't work out well. I'm down 6 and just need to stick with it! Really very helpful!!! Thank you! Enjoy your beautiful bod!

KristinaMariaS

Thanks, I know you can do it!!!

That_girl_Corinna

Wow!!!! Amazing results!! Great job!!

KristinaMariaS

Thank you!

Station_CHII2

(F31) Iโ€™ve been doing 16:8 but this makes me want to step my game up. I donโ€™t eat in the middle anyway

KristinaMariaS

I did 16:8 a couple of weeks in the beginning, but realized it was very easy for me AND I personally was only eating junk after my main meal. I eased into 18:6 and after a month into 20:4. I really believe in trying and feeling for oneself what feels right. Don't do something too hard as it will be a struggle you won't have the strenght to do forever. You can do it!

NFTM17

What do you do for your omad versus your 4 hour window? Besides the obvious "it's only one meal" vs eating for 4 hours. Just curious. I'm wiggling between the two.

KristinaMariaS

It actually is the obvious as I do not eat two but one meal + some calories to reach my daily goal. I do see better results this way even though I eat the same amount of calories.

NFTM17

I'm wondering if it's similar to what I am starting to do. Today I opened with a protein shake mixed with spinach and frozen berries. I let that settle so I don't feel stuffed, and then I'm eating my bigger meal which will have a protein, carb, veggies and a side salad. After that settles, I might have a small light dessert. But then I won't eat again until tomorrow.

KristinaMariaS

I don't know anything about starting with a protein shake with (sugary?) berries, as I do not eat/drink protein shakes. I eat everything in about 45 minutes to an hour. I believe that you are doing well as long as you are able to do it long term without feeling hungry/ too resticted as well as getting enough calories (TDEE). Good luck!

MyStaircaseWit

Cheers to your recovered body! ๐Ÿ’ชYou must feel fantastic!! great choice of photo too

KristinaMariaS

Thank you! I do feel a lot better and it's great to be able to be more active.

What amazing results. Proving the IF journey really does work. What was the biggest challenge you overcame on your journey so far?

KristinaMariaS

Thank you. I have to admit that the journey was pretty easy for me. Sure, you have to commit every day, but results are very motivating. Also I am very lucky as this was my first ever try at a "diet"/ lifestyle change, so I guess my body wasn't damaged from unheathly "diets". I have always allowed myself cheat days when there was a special holiday, birthday etc. and try not to beat myself up about drinking wine etc. once in a while. My hubby is very supportive too.

[deleted]

Excellent. Thank you for that insight. Good luck on your journey

KristinaMariaS

Thanks, you too!

KetoandRepeat

Whew!! You look amazing!! Not just the weight loss but itโ€™s the change in body composition for me!

KristinaMariaS

Thank you. I feel much better and more mobile.

SkinnyTam

You look must smaller than 150. More like 130. Same as with the photo of your start weight of 203. I may look into purchasing a new scale. The numbers seem off based on your height. Congratulations on your success! You look amazing!

KristinaMariaS

Thank you very much. I do have two scales....

[deleted]

Great job! Wow! You look amazing. Proud of you!!!

KristinaMariaS

Thank you! I'm proud too.

Tofu_Squirrel

Amazing work, that's some serious commitment. I've been doing 16:8 for a month and not seen any real progress... Maybe I should see if my body is better suited to 20:4. We're a similar height, age and starting weight :) I'd love to be able to wear a pair of jeans and have them fit as well as yours do. x

KristinaMariaS

Thanks. I'm sure you can do it too!! Maybe try counting calories (MyfitnessPal) after calculating your TDEE. I really had no idea at first how much I was eating. It takes some getting used to, but we're all able to (execept for very few unlucky). I also have Hashimoto, which means I even have to eat less to lose some weight.

beesgals

How much less do you eat because of hashimotos? I have hypothyroidism but I think I should be eating a lot less than Tdee calculators give me, but I don't know how much less! I'm about the same size as you currently and trying to get to 130 :)

KristinaMariaS

10% is what I read somewhere some time ago.

menaknow00

Awesome results, your posture even looks better...

KristinaMariaS

Thanks!

itsnotmeimnothere

You look great! Congrats!! Your stats are about the same as mine as far as age, height, SW and GW. Iโ€™m doing 18:6 now and just getting started. Were you always walking 10k a day or is that newer? How many calories do you think you were eating a day? Did you do any other exercise? When did you see your biggest initial drops? (I will just be super pumped to get below 200 as quickly as possible lol and then be cool with a more slow and steady pace for the rest haha)

KristinaMariaS

Thanks, I started in the end of january 2020. I started 10 000+in april when I got my Fitbit. I got used to it. Of course I don't do 10 000 steps every days, but I believe 95% of the time. I always calculated my TDEE with the weight loss and had a deficit of 500 (+ 10% because of Hashimoto). I used MyfitnessPal for Cico. My biggest drop was in the first two weeks (14lbs) because of the water weight. I dropped most of my weight in the first six month, then it got much harder! But this was when my body really began to change for the better and I got closer to my goal. You can do it. Remember this is no race, but a lifelong lifestyle change.

Bout2MakeSomeStuffUp

Dang! Good job

KristinaMariaS

Thank you!

XavLeo

Woah ! Congratulations !! Keep it up or just maintain !! You're Good !!

KristinaMariaS

Thank you. I will stop when it feels right. When I was over 200lbs I didn't know how I would feel at 180 or 130, so I used a normal BMI as a orientation. Now I have a healthy BMI and want to feel good, which is a subjective feeling obvs.

fatbob87

Great job, I think you would benefit from doing some weight training after you drop a little more weight. 140 or 145 would probably be ideal.

KristinaMariaS

Well, thanks. I will decide what weight will be ideal when I feel good. Weight training and more fitness is planned as soon as the gyms are reopened.
